Supporting Australians to achieve security in retirement

The FSC Super & Retirement Incomes team advocates for a sustainable, effective and consumer-focused superannuation system that supports Australians in achieving financial security in retirement.

Working closely with members, government and regulators, the team contributes to policy development and industry reform across the superannuation and retirement incomes landscape, shaping outcomes that strengthen confidence in Australia's retirement system while supporting long-term economic growth and improved retirement outcomes for consumers.

The principles guiding our work

The FSC supports policy settings that: enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and adequacy of the superannuation system; maintain and strengthen consumer confidence in superannuation and retirement products; improve levels of engagement, education and financial literacy across the community; promote competitive neutrality and healthy competition within the industry; and support a sustainable and stable tax framework that helps more Australians achieve self-funded retirement.

Together, this work strengthens confidence in Australia's retirement system while supporting long-term economic growth and improved outcomes for consumers.
